A NEW CHAPTER FOR KABUKI ❤️

Kabuki has been serving Hawaii since 1961, and we're proud to be the third owners entrusted with continuing its tradition.

When we took over Kabuki in 2026, the future of the business was uncertain as the existing lease was coming to an end. Rather than seeing this longtime local restaurant disappear, we decided to invest in its future.

One of the most important things to us was keeping the people and food that made Kabuki special. We've retained longtime cooks who worked under the original ownership and continue to prepare many of the foods generations of customers grew up eating.

At the same time, we're making improvements where we believe they matter. We've upgraded ingredients and are purchasing better-quality products — including larger, fresher chicken — while working to maintain the familiar flavors our customers expect.

Behind the scenes, we've also invested heavily into renovating and restoring the restaurant. There's still a lot of work ahead, but little by little we're bringing the entire space back to life.

Our goal is to reopen the full-service Kabuki restaurant by the end of 2026, provided we can build the team we need to operate it properly.

Until then, our Okazuya remains open and we're continuing to improve every day.
